Reflection on the design process
The development process thoroughly based on the results of primary research. The audience interviews have reshaped the framework of the whole project and clearly pointed out important objectives.
The hybrid coworking space, accessible to the wide public, interconnected to commercial facilities become a central focus of the project. The design I am developing now is mainly focused on this central theme at the moment, while the outdoor forum and event space should follow.

In this process, I am trying to merge all my knowledge gained previously, hospitality design from my professional life, furniture design from my bachelor study and all the research gained through the research in the MA study, looking at customer experience and socially responsible design from a wide perspective. In past modules, I have struggled with making a clear connection between research and practice, this time I am confident that this link will be absolutely obvious. Instead, I am facing another challenge. There is a difference between project presentation in the professional and academic worlds. Today I am more used to present visually finalized product, which is not what is expected from a successful MA project. The design development process needs to be detailed and supported by reasoning in every regard - dimensions. function, material, performance, and aesthetics. Fortunately, Joe, the tutor, has raised his warning at the initial phase, so I was able to change my approach and include extensive reflective notes as well as visual content. Until this point, I believe I was able to set a framework and style of the design development presentation for the final assessment. But there is a large part of the development work ahead of me, as only a small section of the space is already defined. This process should be completed by a final 3D visual presentation.
